'Next' Button for Firefox
Helps you to easily browse a sequence of web pages, images and more.
Blog Example
For example, say you are browsing the page:
http://blog.example.com/page1/
Clicking the 'Next' button will take you to:
http://blog.example.com/page2/
Clicking the 'Next' button again will take you to:
http://blog.example.com/page3/
etc.
Photo Site Example
If you are viewing the image:
http://www.example.com/photos/008.jpg
clicking the 'Next' button will take you to:
http://www.example.com/photos/009.jpg
Clicking the 'Next' button again will take you to:
http://www.example.com/photos/010.jpg
etc.
Another Example
You can also browse sequences in URL query parameters. So, if you are on a page with a URL of the form:
http://www.example.com/crosswords?puzzleNumber=1
clicking the 'Next' button will take you to:
http://www.example.com/crosswords?puzzleNumber=2
Clicking the 'Next' button again will take you to:
http://www.example.com/crosswords?puzzleNumber=3
etc.
New in version 2.2
- The Next button automatically appears in the address bar when a 'next in sequence' address can be calculated.
- You can shift-click the button to go to the previous page in a sequence.
- You can right-click the button to open a menu allowing you to move forwards or backwards in the sequence.
Requires Firefox version 3.6 or later.
Note: This Add-on works on Linux and Mac OS, as well as Windows!
